There are a lot of issues when changing from year to year and more when trying to change engines completely. Wiring can be different, the computer will be different, and possibly will not interchange, and many other things.
The best thing to do is to ask at a salvage yard for interchange information. Unless someone on here has done the exact job you are inquiring about(or happens to have an interchange book) all will be just a guess.
It isn't like the good old days any more.
