Replaced Camshaft position sensor on my 4.OL sohc in order to turn off check engine light Do I need to clear the code from the computer with the scanner or will just disconnecting the battery will keep the light off. any suggestions ?
Clear the code with the scanner. If it comes back on, you still have an issue. If not, it will stay off. It will eventually go off itself if you have corrected the problem if you want to wait.
