The truck ran great and was always reliable. I went on vacation for a couple days and when I returned it just wouldn't start. It has a good strong battery, turns over but won't start. will fire if I use ether. fuel pump is good. proper fuel pressure at engine.all of my fuses and relays work fine in both boxes. I have spark. I'm thinking it's something that controls the fuel injectors or maybe the crank sensor? possibly the computer but it fires if I spray ether, soo :-/ I also tried hooking it up to the computer that mechanics use (the big expensive one, you guys know what I mean) and it wouldn't interface so I can't get an error ode or anything. Also there aren't any service lights on. Please help!

Your first mistake is owning a dodge. But a common problem with them is the clogging of the fuel injectors especially when they sit. however if you are able to fire ether into it it would persist that the injectors aren't the problem. IF you are getting it to turn over but it woudn't continue to run the that means... BACK PRESSURE. check your exhaust lines. if your truck is starting but won't run but will on ether it's because ether fires at a hotter rate and is forcing it's way through whatever clog it may have. the regular fuel though just can't do the same thing. See if there is a potato in your exhaust line. You never know...
