1998 Chrysler Town & Country won't start.?

The van would not start sometimes and we would hit the dashboard on top and it would start.This time the hit does not work.None of the gauges work on the dash.All I hear is clicks
when trying to start.The starter seems good.We changed the egnition switch.We have lights and radio works.Sometimes when the van did'nt start we would let it sit for a while then it would start.Thanks in advance.
