Okay. I own a 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertable and for the stereo system there is an amplifier built in underneath the passanger seat, mine doesn't work and the one I bought for a Replacement doesn't work either. I was wondering if anybody knew where I could possibly get the wiring system or whatever I need to by-pass the amplifier so that I can just connect every speaker straight to the stereo. Please if anyone can help me.. I'd really appreciate it, I've been at this for months. Any questions just email me at [email protected] with subject title.. "car info".

Here is the wiring diagram for it.....http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/DCP-Wiring.pdf

If the amp isn't working, it's probably a blown fuse as the one you tried to replace it with is not working eitther. To check replacement, get a power and ground wire and check it by touching wires to pos (power) and to Neg (ground) and see if it powers up. If so, It's a bad fuse to the amp.
