The mileage lighting and shift control lighting are out. All of the other gauges are on. It's not the fuse, i checked and even replaced but nothing. A mechanic friend of a friend said it may be the sensor in the rear of the car because as i was in the car wash as the dryer was blowing at the rear of the truck the lights came on then off when the blowing stopped. What type of sensor would i need, were can i get it and how much could it cost me? I don't want to spend 90 bucks for a diagnosis and another maybe 200-300 bucks for service. Where is the sensor located anyways, maybe it just needs blowing. Thanks.
