J Justin H Guest Jan 2, 2009 #1 hi i have a 1998 chevy 1500, 4.3 v6 vortec i'm pulling the motor apart as we speak, there'ss a lot of engine sluge. i'm thinking of maybe a bad valve but no idea. Any one els have this problem?
