My friend got a 1997 toyota corolla and for the past few weeks he was driving and the engine stalled. He put it back to Parking to start it up without any trouble. It happened again 5-6 times. Since last week its been having trouble starting like if the battery was dead. He had to take off the positive cable from the battery each time he had to park the car to manage to start it back whether its 15 minutes or a night. He tested the battery and apparently it was still good. He also told me that when it rains the dash lights becomes brighter and the radio stops working.
Any ideas on whats going on or what should we check?
