1997 Mazda Millenia S?

I have a tilt feature on my Mazda and it got stuck in the "up" position. It's been like that for about six months now and i was wondering if i could manually take it back down without having to go to the dealership. Please Help Me! Thanks!
 
I searched many sites and it seems Mazda Millenia has many tilt wheel problems in alot of year models, in any case this is one answer I found for you, if this doesn't work you'll have to buy a new motor.Interesting that you mention this. My 1998 Millenia has always had an on and off again motor. Sometimes staying stuck in the up position for weeks. Today decided to take it apart. Once I loosened it noticed that it appeared to be working again, so just put all of the screws back in and I seem to be OK.
