1997 jeep trouble code po171 and po172 ?

jeep Fuel System Rich how can I fix this my self I am trying to keep from sending it to a shop I have replaced three o2 sensors the jeep cranks , runs and idles fine I do not think it is the timing but I really doint know. I am Mechanically inclined but I am at the end of my road on this one can anyone help
 
that engine code means your running to lean and the second I think is running to rich what kind of jeep is this a Rubicon try simple first change the fuel filter most jeeps have problems with the fuel pump this is common in the WJ might be an old code did these codes have time to clear themselves since nobody erased them
 
Mass Airflow or O2 Sensor...expensive to throw parts at though. You might want to pick up a chilton's or a haynes manual and they should tell you how to trouble shoot the sensors to see which one might be on the way out.

By the way, aren't there 4 O2 Sensors. Just wondering cause you only replaced 3. If there are 4 then that could be the issue right there.
 
Maf sensor, vacuum leak, intake leak. This is not a do it yourself code to fix. This is the exact code that non technicians and free code readers want to sell you o2 sensors to fix. Check the maf and have the engine smoked by a professional.
 
I'm Puzzled p0171 is a lean code p0172 is a Rich code. I would ck the
Cam sensor reference also ck for vac leaks. Also Dirty injectors could be an issue. I hope your using Mopar O2 sensors. The only others
you could use would be Bosch. All others are total trash! You May
need to get it diagnosed by a pro and then explore your options. I assuming you have a 4.0 Cherokee. It does not have a MAF sensor and has only 2 O2 sensors. Please correct me if needed.
