ok so this 1997 honda civic was changed from an auto to a 5 speed. the auto engine ECU was LEFT in the car and now it gives out bad inspection codes with a check engine light. i have the right 5 speed ECU but when it gets pluged into the auto egine wiring harness setup the car doesnt have a check engine but it gives out a bad idle air control valve code and still cant pass inspection. i dont think there is anything wrong with the idle air control valve cause the car has been being driven for like 10 years and its been fine. is this problem the wiring harness cause its the old auto setup or something?
