1997 honda civic DX jumps after gear shift?

my civic seems to jump after i have shifted gear and press the gas pedal again my motor and trans are good so it cant be that, when i press the gas my car jumps and my shift knob jumps back to as if the entire motor just shifted cant really seem to figure what's wrong any tips would be great thanks
 
Check the engine and transmission supports they could be bad. Apply the emergency brake raise the hood put it in second or third gear. engage the clutch slowly be extra careful if the motor rises you should know.
 
You possibly have a bad motor or transmission mount. These mounts support the motor and transmission. there is one on left and right sides of the car and one each in the front and rear of the engine compartment. If one fails this can cause your problem
