1997 Honda Accord won't start.?

Earlier in the week, I was running a errand and was away from my car for maybe 15-20 mins. When I tried to start my car, it wouldn't start. The key was able to turn, buyt the engine wouldn't turn over. After a few minutes of waiting, it worked. Just yesterday, I tried to start it, but no luck. The past few days my car was able to start up, but not as fast as the previous times. Would the problem be my battery? Please help me out here, as I barely have any money right now and need this situation fixed.

i have the same car. but best thing is get a friend or a friend of a friend (someone car-savy) to check it out as a favor.
for me it was the battery that needed to be replaced. other than that the car hasnt had any problems.

If the car is turning over, but not starting it's not the battery. If your turn the key and nothing happens, but the lights are coming on in a dim way, then it's the battery. Try your alternator too, take it out and go to autozone (or whatever like it) and have them test it.
