You need to find the leak. then replace the part. check your radiator and radiator cap. refill the radiator and start the carup and let it idle untill you can find the leak.

The temperature gauge is to the hottest point, white smoke comes out (guessing from pressure), and when i opened the hood for the first time coolant was everywhere. I checked the hoses and i couldn't find any holes although I could have missed a spot... any help would be appreciated!
just found the source of the leak, it's a crack at the top of the radiator close to the cap. gonna proceed to replace the radiator... any other advice while going through this process?

more then likley it overheated and warped the head so therefore you are going to need a new head gasket and possibly a new head depending on how much you f**** it up. The problem could be anything from a faulty water pump, thermostat, bad hose, although you said you couldnt find on leaking, so yeah check that stuff out, looks like you may have to put some money into it
