just bought this truck in non running condition... figured out it had no spark....
i cranked and cranked for one full night...nothing...put the battery charger on and instead of charging the battery from the positive and the negative terminals i decided i would hook negative throught ground for the engine/battery instead....the next day i come home leaving the battery charger still on and maintaining the battery...i give it one quick crank and wholla!!!! it started!!!! i have no clue why it would do that....but it starts everyday since....pulled the codes and nothing to do with lossing spark was there....only abs codes....any suggestions why it would go and come back with a very strong blue colored spark....????? runs great now.. with lots of power......its a 1997 ford f150 with the 4.6 l engine...by the way the truck is in the shop getting looked at and they have no clue what is doing that....also the throttle has a delay from when you push it...until when it responds....not a bog....its a hesitate... or delayed response... any suggestions...??? thanks in advance.
