I told a friend I'd replace the power brake booster on his 1997 Ford Escort Wagon next week...I was looking over the schematics, and had a couple questions.
First, in the repair manual it says to disconnect the light switch rheostat resistor electrical connection (under the instrument panel steering column cover) after removing the master cylinder, and reattach it after installing the new booster. Does anyone know why this is necessary?
And secondly (a dumb question, I know) I forget, what's the order in which to bleed the calipers?
