It is a 1997 Dodge intrepid with a 3.3L. It has 230000 or so miles on it. The A/C does not work. When you turn the knob, it doesn't turn on, but the airbag light turns on. Sometimes it works fine, but when it doesn't, the power windows also do not work. The only thing I have checked is the fuses, which are all good.

check the switches in the circuit(s) they might need to be replaced with new ones open your interior of both passenger doors (take out all the fastners) and test them with the car on at the run position and check to see why the windows wont go up or down.

use a light(yea i mean white light) voltage tester also to see where the problem is at the windows circuit make sure to connect it to a ground when doing the tests ( it comes with a ground clipper so you can attach it to a ground )
also use your owners manual it really comes in handy when identifying circuits

cheers !

For your power windows it could be a broken regulator or a bad motor, bad fuse, or damaged wiring. Your a/c could have a bad fuse or relay, or it could be a bad compressor, bad compresor clutch, or a low pressure switch, low freon (freon leak).
