1997 Buick park avenue ultra?

Door handle on drivers door will lift but will not open! I took the panel off but cant see how to fix it. How do i fix something like this can any body help? Thanks!

check to see if the linkage for that handle is bad or broke..most times its the clip that holds linkage intact

The tab that pushes against the linkage lever broke off, it is probably laying in the bottom of the door.

The new handle piece is over 200 bucks but you can clamp a small L clip with a tiny hose clamp on the piece that remains and get it working again.

You will have to make your own clip out of something, no aftermarket supplier has come up with a kit yet.
