Things i check with that problem are fuses first, your case headlamps and brake. Then bulbs which are cheap so might as well replace. Brake switch which is connected to your pedal, usually $30. Then its on to wire troubleshooting. Your model car might go from brake switch to maybe something in the steering column. Also do you have a third brake light? If so how is that reacting to the brakes engaging.
