1996 Kawasaki ZX6R burning oil and fouling spark plugs, what's the deal?

My bike has been burning oil for a while (it has 48,900 miles) and every once in a while it would foul the spark plugs. It has gotten worst. I changed the plugs and only got about 100 miles before the plugs fouled again... When I remove the plugs 3 of the 4 plugs have oil on them.
Do I need a valve job or something else to fix this problem?

Thanks

This is the likely scenario to explain the fouled plugs: The oil from the sump is making it's way into the combustion chamber due to piston and ring wear.
The # of miles on your bike may seem merely average, and it is for a car or truck. But because motorcyle engines run at higher RPMs, they experience more frictional wear given the same amount of mileage compared to a car or truck.
A valvejob isn't as necessary or common for motorycles unless they're really worn out. And due to the labor and expense involved to overhaul the valvetrain, you should first replace the rings/pistons to confirm if this cures the oil burning prob.
