1996 jeep cherokee start problem?

new spark plugs and fuel filter...

i can start the car..sometimes, other times it woulnt turn over it sounds like its about to start but nothing, sometimes ill get it started and it woulnt go very far before it dies, i never ussually get above 15mph when that happens
 
check your battery cables on the battery first make sure their on there tight.....not loose. or it could be your alternator too.
