something as simple as changing the tranny filter and replacing the fluid could help you out. also, cv joints (front wheel drive) could very possibly be bad, but thats not too big of a deal.

1990`s taurus! These have bad trannys. it is starting to go. Here is a webpage about them

tauruses are notorious for transmission failure i hope for you that it is just low on transmission fluid, if its not try adding LUCAS for transmission it stops slips if that doesn't work you may need a rebuilt tranny. good luck.
