Ok I ahve a 96 Ford Explorer XLT. 4.0 liter, and 4WD. My Fuel pump is shot but I was looking up online how to drop the tank, and on one site the guy said that on some models the sending unit is not sold seperately, but did not specify which models. So I was wondering if the sending unit and fuel pump are the same??
PS I have called the place where i ordered the Fuel pump from...the guy said he did not know and would call back...that was yesterday....I am at work and really cannot be sitting on the phone calling dealerships and parts stores to ask...so I was wondering if anyone on here would know...I have to check my email frequently for work so this just seemed easier for now
