1996 Dodge Neon Speedometer isn't working?

I have a 96' dodge neon, I soler the the cluster pins and then the speedometer worked, but as there were other problems wrong at the time i did not put it back on the road or drive it everyday. So I was wondering if there may be another problem or should i try soldering it again and then drive it everyday and see if it holds out working??

If you just get that car to run well, without fixing the speedo, then, you'll have an excellent reason for speeding !
