I was wondering if anyone could help me out here...i own a 1996 Chrysler Intrepid 3.3L that has a new battery, new alternator and the battery light comes on when i accelerate around 3,000RPM so theres something wrong with the charging system... does anyone know what could be wrong? My car would blow a blue 20 Amp (engine controller) fuse all the time when i would be driving... the dash lights would get really bright and so would the headlights then the car would shut down because of the fuse blowing. I know its something electrical but would it be the ECU or could it be a rectifier or fusible link causing the problem?????

Its your new alternator, its not regulating the voltage like it should, causing your over voltage problem. Take the alternator back and get it checked, and replaced under warranty.
