Ok... my car was towed and froze up and wouldn't start the next day when i went to the tow yard to get it. The battery was completely dead and needed a jump to get started. Yes ive asked this before but its updated... I have changed the thermostat... the 2 hoses from the heater core are both warm... there is airflow in the car. But it always blows ice cold??? is it the electronic temperature control? Ive changed the temperatures on it but its always the same ice cold. What else could it be?
It does have the 4.6L Northstar engine

Does it have the Northstar engine? If not its probably just your heater core. If it does it could be your water pump (the Northstar engine can run without any cooling system and not overheat)

Yea climate control can be a pain to diagnose, there are a couple of problems I've had but usually ends up being the baffle inside heater core. I usually dig down to heater core and remove cover put my hand on heater core while engine is hot and running, heat on, the heater core should be so hot I cant keep my hand on it, if only hot on one side , warm or cool at the other end then baffle is bad and hot coolant just going in core and out without heating the whole core, if heater core so hot but still no heat then climate control module not working correctly and could be electrical or failed module, there are scan tools that check body computer but I'm guessing your not working with scan tools.....Boy I'd really like to see any engine run without cooling system and not overheat
