1996 Buick starting problem?

I have a 1996 Buick Centry with 23,000 original miles. The car will start fine first thing in the day no problem. But say I drive the car for ten minutes and turn it off. When I go to start the car again the engine will turn over but not start. It will take approximately 10 tries before the car starts. Any idea whats wrong??????
