Hello! I have a 95 Camry with 196,000 miles on it. I was driving locally yesterday with my window down when suddenly I realized that my engine was extremely loud. It sounds like a race car, or a boat engine, and I'm not sure what it could be. I checked the oil and it was low, but when I filled it (2 quarts of oil) it was still loud.
There have been no performance changes, the car still accelerates the same. Anyone have any ideas? I don't know much about cars so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
