My 1995 Ford Taurus GL 3.0L V6 with roughly 73,000 miles on it has a steering problem. I was turning right onto a street and put my foot down. I heard and felt a massive clunk and immediately pulled over. My steering is now off quite a bit. The steering wheel sits a half-turn to the right (90 degrees) and the wheels are straight. Can anyone help me?
As I was moving the car into the garaga, the steering locked on me for a second but then unlocked almost instantly.
