I removed my hood one night because I had to install front fenders on my TEERUK. Unfortunately, it rained that night. The next day, i put the hood back on and drove. I noticed that there is MUCH less throttle response and power. Did rain water get sucked in somewhere? Please throw all of the possibilities at me!! Thanks!!!!

dist could of got wet. spray it out with WD-40 to dry it out. As long as your air cleaner was still on then no water should of gotten in motor.

I am a Chevy man myself and when I drove my camaro in 2 feet deep water because I didnt know the road was flooded so bad... my distributor cap got wet and the car ran horrible.

With this cap being wet, there is poor flow of electricity which is causing your engine's spark plugs not to fire properly.

The best thing to do is just wait and let the car sit until everything dry's up. Dont worry man, this happened to me several times.

Good Luck Bro.
