I have a 1995 Chevy G20 and all electrical items are dead. The I was in the middle of installing some fog lights when this happened. I got half way with the lights then stopped and didn't come back until the next morning. The battery is fine, I didn't leave anything on and drain it. It can run the fog lights when directly connected to the battery, I have also checked it with a voltmeter. I even charged the battery for an hour and still, even with the charger still attached, not one single interior light comes on (5 watt bulb). Battery terminals and cables are clean and securely in place. Using a voltmeter I can tell at least the starter is getting power, power is going from the battery through the cables, but stops somewhere. Absolutely nothing turns on, no interior lights, no parking lights, no brake lights, no stereo, and of course it won't start. I checked a couple of fuses and they are all fine. Is there some sort of master fuse? I hear that Amercian cars don't have 'master fuses'... What, if unplugged, would do this? p.s. I was fooling around the fuse box, because I was leading the fog light wires from the engine bay through the firewall, near the fuse box, and to the dash. PLEASE HELP ASAP!
