i have a 94 pontiac bonneville that stalls while driving. It seems to die always when I drive the car for more than 20 minutes. (During traffic) It recently has had a tune up (oil, oil filter, plug, wires) Replace module and fuel filter as well. I have had two different mechanics look at my car and no codes showed up for them. They mentioned fuel pump and crank sensor, which they CAN'T guarantee this will fix the problem. I've done some research online and have read that people with same problem have replaced both and this did not fix the problem. Any other suggestions??????
I have not taken it to the dealership. I was told that I should not take it to the dealership beacause my car is so old. I would be over charged for any work done and parts. My car's value isn't worth taking to the dealership. I've already put in over $300 into trying to fix this and it's looking like more.
