I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee that will not stay running. It keeps dying when I stop at lights. After 10 or 15 minutes of running it and restarting it every time it dies it will run fine. I'm not sure what is the problem. I replaced the fuel filter thinking that it was so dirty that it wasn't allowing enough gas to get through the line, but the problem still occurs. I'm thinking the fuel pump isn't pumping enough gas through the line. Could this be the correct diagnoses?
This morning it wouldn't start, so I poured some gas in the carburetor and it fired up, but then the same problem started again once I started driving it again.
