I have a 1994 honda accord that had a flashing d4 light. I changed out the solenoids and it worked well for a while, but then began flashing again. I ended up changing out the transmission and it ran really well for a day....lol.. i put a paper clip to short out the two wire plug under the passenger side glove box and the CEL flashed giving me a code 41 and a 7. The D4 light threw out 1,8,13. i turned the car off, messed around with some of the plugs, unhooked the battery, hooked it back up and the only code it throws out is 13 from the D4 flashes. the transmission is locked and will not let me shift. also, the transmission might be low on ATF, but i put in about 4 quarts and its still not reading could that be part of the plroblem.
