Hi
I have a honda accord 1994. Neither of the fans are working so the car is running pretty hot. The fan on the drivers side doesn't even run when i connect the connector directly to the battery so i'm guessing it needs replacing. The other fan, when i disconnect the connector at the thermostat and short it out the fan runs. Does that mean the thermostat needs replacing or could it be something else as well? There is another connector at the water pump i believe and when i shorted that I heard a relay click (with the car off only, no click with car on) but no fan runs. I believe this bit is meant to make the fan run when the car is off?
The car never really used to run hot. After i had been driving it for a while and turned it off a fan would run. But now this doesn't happen and the car runs hot.
Any advice would be good. Thanks
