1994 Ford Rangers Headlights.?

The lights went out at same time, all the bulbs and fuses are ok.
I did replace the headlight switch, with no results.
Any more ideas what it would be? Where would I start looking for any short in the wiring? Thanks.
The lights work when I use the passing flash.

Possibly the high beam/low beam switch? When you pull back the turn signal lever does it turn on the high beams at all?

I would go to the library, and copy the wiring diagram for the 1994 Ranger. Trace the wires from the headlight to the battery, marking all fuses, circuit breakers, connection points, relays, and switches. Finally, use a 12 volt multimeter to check the voltage at each one, to see where you lose the power. Check the relay by having someone listen to it switch on when you turn the headlight switch.
