1994 Buick Skylark Engine Hesitating and Stumbling?

The car is 6 cyl and has about 146,500 miles. For the most part it runs fine. Here's what has been happening:

1. When I start the car and then put it in reverse, the "service engine soon" light comes on. When I put the car in drive, it goes out very quickly.

2. The engine hesitates and stumbles when I press on the accelerator. It gets better as I drive but still happens. The car does not stall out and does not idle roughly at a light or when stopped.

3. If I gun the engine it takes off, no problem. I notice, however, if I'm at idle, in park, and press the accelerator all the way down the car starts vibrating.

I had this car sitting in a driveway for about 8 months unregistered, so I wasn't driving it. Got it back on the road in August 2009 but it had the gas sitting in it so for the first couple of weeks it was all f--ked up. Threw some sea foam in it, other stuff, eventually it stopped. It was OK for a while but now this.

Can't do the plugs because there are three that I can't get at.

Any advice is most appreciated, as to what it might be, cost, etc.
