Hi...I have a 1993 mazda mx-6 and it won't start. It turns over but it won't start at all.everything works like all the lights and everything it just won't start. I was leaving work i started to take off and it died and wouldn't start again???? ANY IDEAS???

engine needs air, fuel, compression and spark to run. my bet is one air or fuel. check to make sure your fuses are good, especially the fuel pump fuse. i would also check the fuel pump itself, but i'm not sure how to test one as i have never had to fix one

Get in the car, and turn the ignition to run. There should be a faint hum from the fuel pump for a few seconds. If there is no hum check out the fuel pump relay and fuse.
The 1993 MX-6 has a distributor I believe, check it and make sure the cap and rotor are good. The contacts may have corroded or worn to the point they need to be replaced. If you have a spark plug wrench, pull a plug/s and see if they need replaced.
When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?
One of the problems modern cars have is a failure by owners to perform routine maintenance, like gas filters, spark plugs, air filters, caps (and rotors) as well as spark plug wires. On your model (which is pre OBD II) the problem is compounded by the lack of the advanced trouble shooting cars made 1996 and later have.
