My Jeep sometimes starts right up in the cold weather and sometimes does not. When it doesn't, I have to help it stay running(hold the tach @ 1000rpm) until it warms up. While the it is warming up the rpms will go up and down by 500rpm on thier own. Also when I back up when I have this prob it will die sometimes. I've done a complete tune up and fluid change approx 500 miles ago and the vehicle seems to be mechanically sound otherwise. It has a 5.2 liter v8 and full time 4wheel. Any ideas?
