1993 Honda Civic EX / Manual 5-speed - Intermittent starting: Either starts or it doesn't. fuel pump OK - when it starts there is no mechanical bind or problem; starts fine. When it doesn't, my dash lights go out like it has a short in the electrical system. Online blogs states that the ground should be checked but didn't say which ground connection to check. Is there a ground for the starter itself? If so, where is it located? I can only see the power connection and a 14 - 16 ga. spade lug connection on the solenoid. These two connections are clean and good. The neutral switch is working as I can hear the main relay click when I push the clutch in to start.
