1993 Honda Excel, 200000 miles. Recently had the Master Brake Cylinder replaced, the Water Pump, the Timing Belt, and a few gaskets, a oil change, and a few other random things. Drives nicely, one owner, leather seats, was kept in a garage, ran smooth except when it was idling. It shuddered a bit then, although I heard this was common for older Hondas.
They are asking 2300 dollars.
Think this would be a good buy, for my first car? We had it checked and driven by a mechanic, he said the brakes were going bad, it had a very minor oil leak, and the gears shift just a tad slow. That is why the owners decided to fix the brakes.
To get it running properly? Did you read the question? It runs just fine. The brakes had some trouble, but the current owners fixed all that, and replaced all the other stuff. The only thing now is that the gears shift a bit slow, and there is a very small oil leak.
