thats normal on a honda i like to call it the honda rev but its a simple way to fix it all you have to do is take off your throttle body and there should be some vacum holes start your car and take your find and cover one hole if it doesnt go down go to the next and just keep doin that till it stops then once you have founs the hole just plug it with somthing and then simply put a new gasket on and there you go hope this works for you

The Car has custom air intake and exhaust systems. After the car is completely warmed up it idles normally at around 1000 RPMs. While the engine isn't warmed up, it revs itself between 1000 & 1500 RPMs. Any ideas?

That is normal. When the engine is cold it idles higher than when it warmer. When the engine becomes warmer, the idle should settle in an stable rpm. If your idle wont go down even the engine gets warmer, that is the problem. Hope this helps!

The engine requires more fuel when the engine is cold. The engine always runs better when the engine is warm/hot, better fuel economy.
