I have 1992 5 speed transmission. Last 2 weeks driving down road when i let off clutch i heard like a loud squeek. Now when Im driving i have to give it more gas, to do the same work. I hear the engine start reving up to go up hills, I checked manual trans fluid and it had good color and was full{ have small trans leak but every 3 months i just add a little. My question is when you start loosing the clutch, is this a symptom, it does this now in all gears. It still goes, but there is a problem. The clutch pedal itself feels fine, or could this be an transmission problem. It still moves but I have to give it more gas, and you hear the engine has to work harder.
