i have a 1992 ford f150 2wd 300 regular cab long bed. Im trying to remove and replace the steering coupler but theres no bolts or nuts just metal circles. On one side the circle is flat and the other side is a circle within a circle thought i could use an align wrench but i couldnt and theres a rubber piece in between. Has anyone replaced this before and is there any tricks on how to remove this.
The pinch bolt broke that holds the input shaft on the gear box so thats staying on until i drill it out didnt have enough clearence inside the engine compartment. I need to know how to remove the coupler from the steering column

If the bolt broke you can use a chisel to open the coupling enough to remove it.It will prob take a few hits but it will come apart.I had this happen before on the same truck
