I have a 1992 Ford F-150. It's my daily driver. I've noticed an unusual amount of wear on the outside of the passenger side tire. I believe the camber on that side is either gone or going.
First, how dangerous is it to drive the truck like this?? Or is it dangerous at all??
Second, how much would it cost to take this to a shop and have it fixed??
I understand that there is a tool I can rent to do it myself. I have done most other jobs on my truck myself - that I had no idea how to do before. I've changed out the starter, the water pump, alternator, etc. I am capable, but want to know what a job like this might involve. How much $$ am I am going to be spending if I take it in or do it myself??
If YOU'VE done it or taken it in to be done, please let me know how hard of a job it was or how much it cost you.
THANKS!!
