Hello just put transmission in my truck set the detent cable like always did before by releasing the cable lock and pulling throttle back ,did that it shifts OK but when you step on the accelerator pedal doesn`t slip it just don`t down shift it won`t down shift.
I moved the cable a click at a time making the cable shorter then it will down shift put sound like trans is slipping when down shifting also if you accelerator hard like 1/2 throttle it sound like it wants to slip when shift threw gears.I move the cable making it longer did the same . help !!
