1991 toyota tercel hard start?

this car starts only if you pinch off fuel return line, and advance the distrubuter to its maximun ,and will run rough and stall.
fuel pump was replace ,ignition coil , and timing was recheck ,has good compression in the 180psi
 
Sounds like you need to hook everything up right and then check the fuel pump to see if it delivers the right fuel pressure to the fuel rail and enough fuel volume. The computer probably turns the fuel pump relay (and fuel pump) on when it has proper ignition and engine oil pressure signals. Also try spraying quick start spray into the air intake to see if the engine starts and stalls. If so, that tends to confirm a fuel related problem rather than an ignition problem.
