it only has 150k miles on it i don't know much about the trucks history but engine is very clean it was being sluggish like the trans. was holding it back so i changed the transmission fluid put the proper amount and type of fluid that fixed the problem but now in the morning or the first time you drive it it does not want to shift until you let off the gas but after it all heats up shifts perfect is there a additive i can put in it or does anyone know what the heck is going on i can live with it but the girlfriend don't get the point of how to drive it in the am or for the first time of the day

If it's the original automatic transmission, count your blessings because it's lasted longer than the average life of an automatic transmission. I'd try an additive, but the seals are apparently hardened and leaking transmission fluid. You should now plan on getting a replacement vehicle because the transmission may soon fail altogether in my opinion. You didn't mention whether the transmission filter was changed at the same time. "Rebuilt" transmissions aren't worth the cost and a new remanufactured transmission is at least $3000 installed, so watch for a good deal on a new vehicle!
