I just got a KX80 and the cylinder is scorched. I was wondering if I needed a new cylinder, or just have to bore or hone it. Or do I have to just buy a new piston and rings.
You can bore the cylinder and hone it. But you should adjust it with new oversized piston (0.1, 0.23, or 0.5 mm for example). Some other adjustment should be done, mainly on carburettor.
