Bleed the coolant system, that is, let the air out. but might be blown head gasket, I`ve never heard of an addative that will fix a blown head gasket, Oh perchance to dream

I've got a Mazda 626 2.2L, Auto I can't seem to get out of my garage. I did a tuneup & flushed out the coolant. I suspected I had a minor leak in coolant system (freezer plug, head, head gasket, etc) so I used a pricey head gasket sealant from autozone for the coolant system. Followed instuctions throughly which included letting the system dry 24hrs & flush with water until sealant was out & water was clear. Replaced coolant, test drove car & let idle for 15mins with no problems. The following day, took it out & it overheated after 5 miles on the freeway when I exited. Any suggestions? Car did not overheat before tuneup & coolant flushing. Help!
I've got a Mazda 626 2.2L, Auto I can't seem to get out of my garage. I did a tuneup & flushed out the coolant. I suspected I had a minor leak in coolant system since it would need coolant every 3 months or so, figured freezer plug, head, head gasket, etc leak. So I used a pricey head gasket sealant from autozone for the coolant system. Followed instuctions throughly which included letting the system dry 24hrs & flush with water until sealant was out & water was clear. Replaced coolant, test drove car & let idle for 15mins with no problems. The following day, took it out & it started running warmer than op temp after 5 miles on the freeway when I exited. Any suggestions? Car never overheated before tuneup & coolant flushing. Did that stuff clog the radiator?
* Removed Thermostat
* Car never overheated or Overheated before Tuneup
* Before Tuneup, Car needed some coolant every couple of months.
"How could that sealant blow the head gasket? The head gasket was never blown."

sorry to say those head gasket sealants/additives do not work, if your head gasket is blown the additives they sell cant seal it and withstand the pressure. i think there a fraud and waist of money.

but it sounds like you have a blown gasket if you replace it you must replace the head bolts and make sure the head isnt warped before you put it back together.

have you checked the coolant since.Could and air lock.
I would be looking at the head gasket again.
If you replaced it did you get the head machined ?
